Why Have a Personal Trainer?

Marlene today at 5pm

Marlene is a great person and she is growing with confidence in every session. Today im going to present her with her new programme which i want her to follow for 1 month. Today we are going to develop certain exercises for example the squat and the lunge. We are on the right path and Marlene is stepping even closer to achieving her goals. ",

mandip today at 1pm

Mandip is a new client. She came to my class on monday and could really feel herself working harder then she normally would do by herself. Her main goal is to lose weight and were planning on losing 1 pound a week to start with.
Today im going to introduce her to the resistance type of training and also do a small number of circuits with her to work compound muscle groups.

Tip of the week-

START A RESISTANCE TRAINING ROUTINE:- A pound of muscle burns around 6 calories per day whilst a pound of fat burns around 2 calories per day. Therefore, by increasing your lean muscle mass you can raise your BMR. If you perform a resistance training workout a few times per week and combine it with proper nutrition you can build additional muscle and increase the amount of calories you burn whilst resting.

Milli 3pm today

Still achieving high targets and still progressing her training. Milli knows the hard work is now out the way as she dropped two dress sizes but we still have that extra mile to go as we look to reduce the body fat % even further.
This afternoons session will be a fat burning session consisting of some boxing and quick power training to increase the heart rate.

Circuit class tonight at 7:00pm

Tonights class will be hard work people. I'm looking to shorten the warm up and extend the main session. Planks, press-ups, and squats will be advanced as we look to burn over 400kcals within 45minutes.

ann today at 5:15pm

Ann is still moving forward with her training and today we will be looking to progress that forward by using compound muscle groups. Today is going to be a fat burning session as we focus on the triceps and core in more depth.
Fingers crossed ill hear news of her losing another 1 pound in weight.

Ann 5:30pm today

Ann is one of the new recruits and in her first week she lost a a pound or two. Thats something were looking to build on as we develop her fitness levels and change her lifestyle.
30 minute fat burning session using all muscle groups.
Balance work.
Boxing mixed with cardio session.

milli today 11am

Milli has been doing great from when she first started and ill be honest she has done most of the work by herself because she has kept her head down and continued to work. Her main goal is now to maintain what she has achieved and to hit future goals.
Todays session:
15 minute ab workout.
Speed circuit session.
Boxing session.

Jaz & nav today 8:30pm

Jaz and nav have progressed their fitness levels since ive been seeing them. Their both lookin and feeling good. Ab workout's and muscular endurance workouts are like second nature to the both of them and its only up for these two as they continue to impress me. They both started the gym just looking to gain fitness and didnt know where they were really going. They both found it hard to push beyond their comfort zone. But now its alot different and they see working out as apart of their lifestyle.
Todays session:
Bum's and thigh's.
Abs.
cardio-vascular circuit

Nathan 12:30 pm today

Nathan is one of those clients that is up for any challenge and he never gives up on any task in hand. I've seen him progress his fitness and lose body fat.
For the past few weeks ive been doing alot of strength training with him with a low rest period. This keeps his heart working and gets straight to the fat were looking to get off.
Todays session is not going to be any different and he will be pushed to his limits again.
1) deadlifts.
2) 90%-100% rower intervals.
3) circuit training involving weights.

dwayne tomorrow at 12pm.

Dwayne is one of my new additions and i'm looking forward to working with him. In his first session he showed me his eager to learn new exercises.
We are going to develop the second part of his weights plan which will be progressed by 5-10% every 2 weeks.
A 40 minute muscular endurance workout with 20 minute core stability.

Ranj 11am

Ranj  has developed in alot of different areas. Shes improved her speed and agility and has reduced body fat %. I've seen a big improvement on her core stability.
Lower back exercises and strength training on lower back joints.
20 minute boxing session developing cardio endurance.
core stability and speed training involving steppers and med balls.

8am session tomorrow: SUE

We will cover alot of balance work which will all be done using the core stability muscles. (15 minutes)
A fat burning session on the cardio equipment will be done but youll be using all major muscle groups.
For example on the bike instead of just using your legs you might be doing shoulder presses.
Or intervals of press ups.

TIP OF THE WEEK!

My tip of the week is for everyone of my clients to drink 2 ltrs of water a day.
Water accounts for 60-70% of our total body mass and keeps you hydrated. Drink on  a empty stomach as it can be absorbed directly.
Water will help function the brain alot better so all of my slow clients you need water.
